Award winning holiday let.

The owners of this existing dilapidated barn wanted to convert it into a holiday let and take in the 180 degree view of the fields. The existing barn with limited openings and floor space meant additional floor space was required to make it work. 

It was proposed that the Kitchen / Dining / Living space would be open plan in a modern single storey extension with bi-fold doors out onto the fields. This allowed 2 double rooms to sit over the top of each other with connecting staircase accommodated in the existing barn. 

The rear wall was being held up by buttresses. This allowed for its replacement which included new openings.
