The site is a former roadside pub car park, with some nice views, with the site dropping away. While it was our thoughts that the site could accommodate a dwelling, initially we weren’t sure what.

As the site is linear, then we went linear. With parking access and parking one end, and a small garden the other. With a modern finish the clients were worried what the planners would think. The Planning officer loves it, with the highest compliment of “ I wish more house builders would build houses designed like this”.

Due to its location it’s taken longer to build due to all the passers by stopping to talk to the builders to comment on the design. Now the clients are in, they can’t being the space that has been achieved on this unusual site.
